イラン中南部に位置する産地です。紀元前のアケメネス朝時代〜紀元後のササン朝時代に創設されたと言われ、交易の中継地として栄えました。この地域近郊に暮らすアフシャール族の織るキリムなどが有名で、幾何学的な意匠が多く用いられます。

This region is located in central and southern Iran. It is believed to have been established during the Achaemenid period and continued through the Sassanian period, flourishing as a trading hub. The kilims woven by the Afshar people living in the nearby area are famous, often featuring geometric designs.
