古くはシルクロードの要衝として栄えていたタブリーズは、13世紀イルハン朝など様々な時代の首都でもありました。宮廷工房を構えていたタブリーズは古典絨毯の名品を数多く製作して来た産地です。へリーズは宮廷絨毯に見られるような華麗な装飾文様をこの地独特の大胆な折線で解釈した文様が特徴的で、海外向けに輸出されるようになると欧米に多くのファンを生み出しました。
"Historically, Tabriz thrived as a key point on the Silk Road and served as the capital during various periods, including the 13th century Ilkhanate. Tabriz, which housed royal workshops, has produced numerous masterpieces of classical carpets. The carpets from Tabriz are characterized by their unique bold lines that interpret the luxurious decorative patterns seen in court carpets. As they began to be exported overs eas, they garnered many fans in Europe and America."

Soleymanieh Fini family have been in Carpet and Velvet business for generations in Kashan located in the center of Iran. Soleymanieh Fini is not only reviving the Safavid and Qajar royal workshop carpets by using traditional methods of Hand spinning and vegetable dying, but also innovating new weavings such as Tsurukusaori which is finely woven by silk. Soleymanieh Fini’s weavers are in Kashan, Azerbaijan province and Turkmens in northeast of Iran.
